This award will recognise and reward the facility in Ireland that is setting the highest standards in the realm of facility management.

If you think your facility is setting the benchmark in innovation, sustainability, occupant comfort and safety, and outstanding management practices, then this is the award for you.

Entry is by a 5-page A4 submission; the judges will be looking for clear information backed up by facts that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.

• Facility Overview: Provide an overview of the facility, including its purpose, size, location, and any unique features or challenges. What makes the facility stand out?
• Operational Excellence: Highlight the facility's operational efficiency, emphasising key performance metrics such as energy use, maintenance practices, and cost management. Describe how resources are managed to optimise performance and reduce operational costs.
• Innovation and Technology Integration: Showcase innovative solutions and technology implementations within the facility. Explain how these innovations enhance its functionality, sustainability, and occupant experience.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Detail the facility's commitment to sustainability and its environmental impact. Share information about green building practices, energy conservation measures, waste reduction programmes, and any relevant certifications, such as LEED or BREEAM.
• Occupant Satisfaction and Safety: Share feedback and data on occupant satisfaction, safety measures, and initiatives to ensure the well-being and comfort of those who use the facility. Discuss any specific programmes or actions taken to address occupant needs and safety concerns.
• Community Impact and Industry Leadership: Describe how the facility positively influences the community and its engagement in social responsibility initiatives. Explain how the facility's practices, innovations, or sustainability efforts contribute to the advancement of industry standards and best practices.
