Glancing back at the Facilities Management Awards UK 2026, held last 25th September at the Park Plaza London Riverbank, no organisation left the evening with a stronger record than Bidvest Noonan. Winning across four categories, including the Overall Excellence in Facilities Management Award, Bidvest Noonan's performance at this year's ceremony was a comprehensive endorsement of an organisation operating at the forefront of modern facilities management practice.

In the Cleaning Service Provider of the Year category for TFM, the judging panel recognised Bidvest Noonan's ability to deliver cleaning as a strategic service that creates measurable value for clients. The use of AI analytics and cobotics, alongside specialist expertise and strong sustainability practices, distinguishes an approach that goes well beyond traditional service delivery. Judges noted the organisation's combination of operational excellence, innovation, and client focus as a demonstration of what modern facilities management can look like when technology and people work in genuine alignment.

The FM Service Provider Team of the Year award went to Bidvest Noonan's TransPennine Express team, a 142-strong group of colleagues delivering clean, safe, passenger-ready trains and stations across a live rail network, 365 days a year. Operating within narrow turnaround windows in one of the UK's most demanding operational environments, the team recorded 99.1% train audit scores and 98.7% station audit scores. Judges cited their smart workforce management, digital innovation, and sustained commitment to passengers as evidence of exceptional resilience and capability under sustained operational pressure.

The Client and Service Provider Partnership of the Year award for TFM was shared between Bidvest Noonan and Nissan, for a partnership built on transparency, embedded working, and shared operational goals. Across cleaning, M&E, waste, grounds, and specialist technical support, the partnership delivered 97% KPI performance overall alongside critical improvements including particulate reduction within Nissan's UK automotive estate. Judges noted that the relationship had extended well beyond its original scope, making it a strong example of the trust and collaboration that define genuinely strategic FM partnerships.

In awarding Overall Excellence in Facilities Management, the judges described Bidvest Noonan as "a powerful example of excellence, innovation and operational leadership within the facilities management sector," pointing to a clear commitment to continuous improvement, safety, compliance, sustainability, and customer experience that runs across the organisation's entire operation. The citation concluded that Bidvest Noonan is helping to shape the future of facilities management, not simply performing well within it.

Stay tuned for the FM Awards UK 2027 cycle, where organisations from across the United Kingdom will once again have the opportunity to submit their most impactful facilities management work for independent recognition.
