Equans extends partnership with the National Archives

Equans has secured a new seven-year contract to deliver total facilities management for the National Archives, with an option for a further three years. The deal builds on a relationship dating back to 2008 and will see Equans continue essential services such as maintenance, cleaning and operations while also driving carbon reduction, digital transformation and smart building upgrades.

Plans include expanded use of smart systems, asset replacement and optimised maintenance regimes, alongside initiatives to support economic, social and environmental goals. The agreement also strengthens workforce development, with more graduate, trainee and apprentice roles to be created.
