ISS UK & Ireland has appointed Marlies Hoogeboom as Segment Director for its newly established Financial Services division as part of a wider organisational restructure designed to strengthen service delivery and support long-term growth across facilities management operations.
The appointment follows changes to ISS UK & Ireland’s private sector business structure and reflects an increasing emphasis on sector-led operating models within facilities management. Industry reporting indicated that the former Office & Production segment has now been replaced with two dedicated divisions: Financial Services and Business & Industry.
Under the revised structure, the Financial Services division will oversee major client portfolios including Barclays UK, Banking and Livv, while the Business & Industry division will manage sectors spanning Professional Services, Production, Technology and Ireland. Recruitment for leadership of the Business & Industry division is also underway.
Hoogeboom joins the company’s Country Leadership Team and will report directly to Chief Executive Scott Davies, while maintaining a secondary reporting line linked to ISS Group’s global Barclays account. Her responsibilities will include supporting the integration and development of financial services accounts while strengthening operational consistency across the segment.
ISS stated that the restructure is intended to create closer alignment between leadership teams and operational delivery, enabling greater responsiveness to client requirements and more efficient management across large and complex account portfolios. The company also highlighted a focus on standardisation, knowledge sharing and identifying service innovations that can be applied across different sectors.
The move reflects broader developments across the facilities management market, where providers are increasingly moving beyond centralised service structures and organising around client industries. Sector-specific operating models are becoming more common as FM providers seek to deliver more tailored workplace experiences, improve service outcomes and strengthen long-term client partnerships.
Hoogeboom joined ISS UK & Ireland in late 2025 and brings more than twenty years of experience across facilities management and adjacent service industries, including previous leadership roles with organisations operating across workplace services, infrastructure and the built environment.
The restructure demonstrates how major FM providers continue to evolve their operating models to support growth, improve service integration and respond to changing client expectations across increasingly specialised market sectors.
