Turning back to the Facilities Management Awards 2026, held on 11th March at the Radisson Blu, Royal Convention Centre, Dublin, JLL and LinkedIn's Dublin Campus Transition stands out as one of the most ambitious and precisely executed facilities management projects recognised on the night, earning the FM Project of the Year award in the Private Sector category.

The project centred on the transition of LinkedIn's multi-building EMEA headquarters campus in Dublin, a complex undertaking that demanded the coordination of smart-building innovation, operational excellence, integrated governance, and a sustained focus on employee experience throughout. JLL and LinkedIn delivered all of this simultaneously, completing the campus reconfiguration on time, under budget, and without disruption to the operations of one of Ireland's most prominent technology campuses.

What elevated the JLL and LinkedIn Dublin Campus Transition above the standard of typical workplace transitions was the depth of data-led planning that underpinned every decision. Facilities management operating at a strategic level uses data not merely to report on outcomes but to drive them, and the approach taken here demonstrated exactly that. Integrated governance structures ensured accountability across every workstream, while a consistent focus on people and workplace experience meant that the human dimension of the transition received the same rigour as the technical and operational elements.

The results bear out the quality of the delivery. Zero defects across a multi-building campus transition is a significant achievement in itself. A 30% rise in employee satisfaction following the transition speaks to how well the project served the people who live and work within the campus day to day, an outcome that the judging panel identified as a defining feature of a project that set a new benchmark for complex campus delivery in Irish facilities management.

The Facilities Management Awards 2026 recognised in JLL and LinkedIn a partnership that brought together the best of strategic facilities management thinking, built environment expertise, and cultural leadership to deliver a project that will serve as a reference point for private sector FM projects in Ireland for years to come.

Stay tuned for the Facilities Management Awards 2027 cycle, where Ireland's top facility and property management teams will once again have the opportunity to showcase their achievements.
