Levy, a United Kingdom and Ireland sports and entertainment hospitality company within Compass Group UK and Ireland, has acquired global sports marketing agency The iLUKA Collective to expand brand activation and event strategy capabilities, as reported by Facilitate Magazine.
Levy operates in the United Kingdom and internationally as a venue and event services provider. The iLUKA Collective centres on brand experience, hospitality strategy and live event delivery, supporting sponsors and rights holders at key sports events.
The acquisition brings iLUKA's brand activation and event strategy capabilities into Levy's portfolio, which includes venue operations, catering, marketing, sales and sports travel services. The combined business will supply integrated support covering venue management and hospitality through to sponsor engagement and on-site brand execution.
Charlie Buck, chief commercial officer at Levy, said the addition of iLUKA expands the company's capabilities into brand activation and major international events, creating a wraparound proposition for clients.
Felicity Shankar, chief executive officer of The iLUKA Collective, said the deal would give its global event clients access to wider operational resources, whilst enabling its teams to support Levy's sports and entertainment activity.
The value of the deal remains undisclosed, and no changes have been revealed concerning workforces or branding.
The deal reflects ongoing consolidation across the live events and venue services market, as operators seek to integrate hospitality, marketing and commercial services amid growing demand for coordinated, large-scale event delivery across United Kingdom and international markets.
