UK-headquartered testing, inspection, certification and compliance firm Phenna Group has acquired Sutton Coldfield-based Ventilate Consultancy & Control Limited and Ventilate Grease Control Limited, marking its eighth acquisition of 2026 and directly expanding its service capability for facilities management, real estate and hospitality clients.
Business Sale Report reported that both businesses will be integrated into Phenna's Certification and Compliance Division as an add-on to existing group company ECAS.
Founded in 2012 and operating across the United Kingdom, the Ventilate businesses specialise in kitchen ventilation compliance and fats, oils and grease management, working with large property owners, FM providers and multi-site operators across the real estate and hospitality sectors.
Mike Andrews, divisional managing director of Certification and Compliance at Phenna Group, said: "Ventilate is a highly complementary addition to ECAS. Both businesses bring deep expertise in FOG management and kitchen ventilation compliance, but with distinct client bases. The alignment with ECAS creates immediate opportunities to expand our service offering, strengthen our technical capability and deliver greater value to clients across both infrastructure and real estate sectors."
Andrews added that bringing the two businesses together would allow Phenna to broaden its reach, share technical knowledge and deliver a more comprehensive, joined-up service to customers.
Phenna closed 25 deals in 2025 and has maintained a high acquisition rate into 2026, continuing to build scale across its TICC divisions through targeted bolt-on acquisitions in specialist compliance sectors with strong FM and real estate client overlap.
