Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG), a United Kingdom-based building compliance specialist with operations across the UK, Ireland and Europe, has appointed Craig Doig as managing director of its water treatment division to strengthen senior leadership, as reported by Construction Wave.

Doig brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience from technical services, facilities management, regeneration and energy services provider Equans, part of France-based Bouygues Group. At Equans, he managed a more than £150 million regional operation across Scotland, the North of England and Ireland, leading a team of 1,100 employees.

At PTSG, Doig will oversee strategy and growth of the water treatment division, with emphasis on performance, governance, customer service and scalable growth. His appointment forms part of PTSG's continued investment in strengthening leadership across its core service areas as it expands its national platform in building compliance services.

Greg Ward, chief executive officer of PTSG, said Doig is a high-calibre appointment bringing leadership experience that matters in safety-critical, compliance-led environments. He added that Doig has consistently demonstrated the ability to build strong teams, improve operational delivery and drive profitable growth at scale.

Doig completes PTSG's divisional managing director line-up across the group's core service areas: access and safety, electrical services, building access specialists, fire solutions and water treatment.

Founded in 2007, PTSG was established to provide a single provider of specialist services to the construction and facilities management sectors. Headquartered in Castleford, West Yorkshire, PTSG now employs around 3,200 people, serving more than 400,000 buildings across the United Kingdom and Europe.
