UK gym operator PureGym has completed a comprehensive upgrade of its Lisburn Laganbank site in Northern Ireland, delivering a fully transformed training environment with new equipment zones, expanded functional training infrastructure and an upgraded fitness and spin studio.

Insider Media reported that the refurbishment is part of PureGym's continued investment in its estate to make fitness accessible and affordable to members across its network.

The upgrade introduces a brand-new functional training area incorporating a sled track, handstand board, wall ball targets and accessories, alongside a six-bay lifting rig designed to serve a broad range of strength and conditioning training requirements.

A new beginner-friendly strength zone, branded the Shape zone, has been added to the site, featuring lighter barbells, dumbbells, glute-focused machines and benches, reflecting a deliberate approach to lowering barriers to entry for new and returning gym members.

The refurbishment also includes a fully upgraded fitness and spin studio, completing a site transformation that touches every major training environment within the facility.

A PureGym spokesperson said the business is beyond excited to bring Lisburn Laganbank members a brand-new look and feel to their gym, describing the transformation as an exciting milestone for the club, adding that the upgrades reflect the company's continued commitment to making fitness accessible to everyone.
