Harrogate-based hard facilities management provider Robinsons Facilities Services has secured a six-figure investment from NPIF II via FW Capital Debt Finance, managed as part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II, to support its ambition to double turnover over the next five years.
Insider Media reported that the investment will fund continued growth including apprenticeships and the creation of new roles, and marks the third round of funding the firm has received from FW Capital since 2020.
The latest round follows last year's funding, which supported the acquisition of Bensons Gas Engineering, adding more than 400 client sites to Robinsons' portfolio and pushing total managed sites beyond 1,500 across Yorkshire and the Humber.
Robinsons Facilities Services specialises in hard FM, helping organisations keep their buildings safe, compliant and operational across a growing portfolio of regional businesses, at a time when demand for compliance-led FM services continues to rise.
Luke Kitchen, managing director at Robinsons Facilities Services, said: "We've just completed a five-year plan that saw the business treble in size, and this latest investment will support our next phase as we focus on doubling turnover over the next five years. As compliance requirements become more complex, property managers and building owners are increasingly looking for a partner they can rely on to take full responsibility. We don't just coordinate contractors; we take ownership of the outcome and make sure the job is done properly."
Lindsey McMenamin, portfolio manager at FW Capital, said that the next phase comes on the back of a significant surge in market demand driven by increasingly complex compliance requirements and the need for reliable, high-quality service delivery.
