Commercial property expert Adrian Trueick has been appointed to the board of the Shannon Airport Group for a five-year term, bringing over three decades of expertise in commercial property, investment, development and sustainability to an organisation that manages both a major regional airport and one of Ireland's largest commercial campuses.
The Limerick Leader reported that the appointment was made by Minister for Transport Darragh O'Brien.
Trueick is a founding director of HT Meagher O'Reilly, now Knight Frank Ireland, where he headed the firm's capital markets and property management teams, advising a broad range of international and domestic investors, developers and public sector bodies on large-scale commercial development funding and the sale and acquisition of major property assets.
In recent years, his focus has shifted to sustainability and the retrofitting of existing buildings, an area of increasing strategic relevance for Shannon Airport Group as it develops its infrastructure and pursues balanced regional growth. Trueick is a current member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and was formerly an Associate of the Irish Tax Institute.
Conal Henry, chair of Shannon Airport Group, said Trueick brings with him over three decades of deep expertise in commercial property, investment and development across the Irish market, adding that his experience advising both public and private sector clients, combined with his strong focus on sustainability and the retrofitting of existing assets, will be of significant value to the group as it continues to develop its infrastructure and support balanced regional growth.
Shannon Airport Group manages a large commercial campus featuring extensive industrial, office and aviation-related facilities, with more than 180 companies operating across its business parks spanning aviation, medtech, logistics and other sectors.
